Hebrews 12 :5-8

5 : "And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons " my son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord , Nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him "

6 : " For whom the Lord loves He chastenes. And scourges every son whom He receives "

7 : "If you endure chastenings, God deals with you as with sons, for what son is there whom a father does not chasten ? "

So lets praise God for trials in our life, These trials are there for us to grow and learn, sot hat we may not fall into the same mistakes again and we can also in turn pass on the experience and lessons we learnt to others . Through these trials and our constant dependance on God, we can both show the power of Christ to non-beleivers and also encourage fellow beleivers who are discouraged or going through the same thing. :) He loves us thats why He chastens us, For which Father will not chasten His child :)

Why compare yourself with others, where man is imperfect . when we should be comparing with Christ who is perfect.

Why feel small and insignificant ? remember you are fearfully and wonderfully made, there is nobody else exactly like you on this earth !!

So instead of thinking and wishing for abilities and traits you dont have that others do. instead remind yourself on the gifts and abilities that God has given you !!

Dont always think abt the gifts but think abt the giver!!!

Should you grieve the passing of another weekend; Think of the woman in dire straits, working twelve hours a day, seven days a week to feed her children.

Should your car break down, leaving you miles away from assistance; Think of the paraplegic who would love the opportunity to take that walk.

Should you notice a new gray hair in the mirror; Think of the cancer patient in chemo who wishes she had hair to examine.

Should you find yourself at a loss and pondering what is life all about, asking what is my purpose? Be thankful. There are those who didn't live long enough to get the opportunity.

Should you find yourself the victim of other people's bitterness, ignorance, smallness or insecurities; Remember, things could be worse. You could be one of them!

Should you decide to pass this on to a friend; Thank you... you may have touched their life in ways you will never know!
